"The Bass Coach"

Roger Lee Brown is the founder and former President of the Pro-Tec School of Bassin', Inc. (some of  you may have seen the ads on Sunday morning television) After resigning from Pro-Tec, Roger decided  to put together a new school, one that would be more affordable for the average angler. In addition, he wanted to instruct his students one on one, with an agenda developed specifically for that individual.   "The Bass Coach" was instrumental in developing the training and teaching guidelines for the instructors at Pro-Tec, these new techniques are the next step for him.    Roger is a full time professional Bass angler and instructor. He has over 20 years experience fishing as a pro. He is a United States Coast Guard certified licensed guide and a New York State certified fishing  charter. He has fished in many tournaments throughout the United States and is also a qualified Boating Safety Instructor and an accomplished author and lecturer. The Bass Coach is available to speak at seminars and other events.
Contact Roger for more information.   Since his return to Crown Point, Roger has formed a band known as Reminisce. You have got to check them out! Click here for a link to the bands website! Also, contact North Country Sound and Lighting Productions (a company Roger founded) for any indoor/outdoor lighting needs you might have! Click here to visit North Country Sound and Lighting Production's website.   Click here to go to http://SCENTBOX.com, to check out an amazing product the Bass Coach fully endorses.    Throughout his career Roger has made many friends everywhere he has gone. I met Roger way back in '91. Does anyone remember "The Storm of the Century?" Roger and I were actually fishing a tournament in Eufaula Alabama when that storm hit. Roger was gracious enough to offer to do some pre-tournament fishing with me. We have been friends since. I'm glad he allows me to play around with his website. Click here to visit my website. All inquiries welcome....Kevin Fitzgerald

» Where’s The Bass?
By Roger Lee Brown | Published 07/11/2007 | Freshwater Fishing | Unrated

Where’s the what?... Where’s the bass!  How many of us anglers (tournament and recreational) go to a body of water you’ve never fished before, drop the boat in the water, then, ask this question to yourself?  This is probably one of the biggest topics in bass fishing that an angler should learn more about. I generally receive about two hundred (give or take) emails and phone calls each week from anglers, prospective bass fishing school students, and charter clients from all over the nation (even some from foreign countries) asking me many different questions related to bass fishing.  Out of all of these questions, I would have to say that about sixty-five percent of them would be on how to locate bass in their area or on a body of water that they have never fished before.  I would comfortably say that locating bass and understanding the water would be the number one question among bass anglers today.  The next most asked question would be is which baits they should use to catch “big” bass.
